I`m confused with meaning of plasma in Physics
Explain this to me please

plasma`s been called the forth state of matter ,the other three being solid ,liquid and gas
to put it very simply, a plasma is an ionized gas ,a spark in a gas can create a plasma which a hot gas passing through a big spark will turn it into plasma
in other word An ionized gas, unlike a gas in its normal condition, can conduct electrical current to a limited extent. If the heat or electric field or some thing like a spark becomes extreme, many of the atoms become ions. The resulting super-ionized gas is a plasma, which can conduct a large and sustained electric current.

and about it`s significant Applications which is used in industry include electric lamps, laser s, medical devices, energy converters, water purifiers and flat-panel
